He was predeceased by: his wife Rosemary Blubaugh; his daughter Michele; his son-in-law Robert "Rusty" Karam; his great grandchild Meredith Theresa Merton; his parents, Thomas A Lehner and Suzanna Lehner; his sister Sue (Harry Rasor); and his brothers-in-law, John "Jack" Blubaugh, Thomas (Patricia Blubaugh), James (MaryAnn Blubaugh) and Daniel Blubaugh.
He is survived by: his children, Dr Thomas (Patricia), Edward (Catherine), Gary (Margaret), Ellen Norman, David (Gayla), Rebecca Davenport (Michael), KC (Patricia), Joseph (Ronda) and Andrew (Stacie); and his brother-in-law Stephen Blubaugh (Gayle). He is also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and the many people and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anthony Funeral Home - Akron Chapel (1990 S Main St, Akron, OH 44301). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church (1866 Brown St, Akron, OH 44301). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (100 E Waterloo Rd, Akron, OH 44319).
