He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Barton Wozniak (Michael Sharpless), Dawn Barton (Robert Macenka, Jr.), Aaron Miller (Rochelle Green) and Brock Barton (Elaine Barton); his grandchildren, Hailey Pesich, Drew Barton, Savannah Barton, Lincey Phillips and Jase Phillips; and his siblings, Carl Barton (Jane Barton), Bruce Barton (Gloria Barton) and Irene McCombs (Brian McCombs). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was also very active in donating his time and effort in all his children's early lives through fundraising events and Mogadore sports activities.
