He was predeceased by: his parents, Augusta Long and Janie Long; his daughters, Janice Rivers and Lisa Holley; his brothers, William, Walter and Sammy Long; and his son Thomas Long (Joe) of Akron.
He is survived by: his daughters, Angela Bennett of North Ridgeville and Nikki Walker (Jeffery) of Orlando, FL; his siblings, Hannah Garrett (late Elijah) of Akron, Chaney Walker (late Ray) of Detroit Michigan, Janie Fikes of Akron, Doris Higgins of Akron, Ohio and Ray Long (Ruth) of Akron, Ohio; his sister-in-law Betty Long of Akron, Ohio; and his close friend Gladys McConnico.
