She was predeceased by: her mother Susan McGrath (Dempsey); her husband Stephen P. Vargo; her son-in-law David Breitenbach; and her sisters, Jean Vondemkamp (James) and Susan Boles (Ed).
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Breitenbach, Daniel (Kathy) and Stephen D. Vargo (Tracy); and her grandchildren, Brian, Laurie, Daniel, Steve, Mark, Jon and Todd. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
