She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Rhoden; and her parents, Gladys Campbell and Orlander "Buster" Campbell. She is survived by: her son Jibreel Scales, Sr. (Ann); her grandchildren, Robert Fields, Jibreel Scales, Jr., Albert Scales, Xavierr Maxwell-Howe, Iyanna Cooper, Russell Cooper, Aliyah Rhoden and Mariah Rhoden; her sisters, Donna Harris and Sherry Campbell; and her nieces and nephews, Troy Campbell, Matthew Campbell, Andrea Hayward and Gena Harris-Tucker. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
