It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Goodrich-Scherer (Akron, Ohio), who passed away on October 23, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Gausman and Peggy Gausman; her brother David Gausman; the father of her children Ronald Goodrich; and her husband William Scherer.
She is survived by: her children, Scott (Rose), Kenny and Holly; her sister Michele Claflin (Tom); her grandchild Kyle (Kerri); her great grandchild Caroline; her grandchildren, Amanda Staudacher (Nick), Seth, Olivia and Andrew; her extended family, Rod and Gina Harrison; and also, Alex, Andrew and Austin.
