She is survived by: her sons, Lamont J (Smitherman) and Robert L. Smitherman; her sisters, Yvette C. Davis and Tanya D Smitherman; her nieces and nephews, Antonio Cephas, William Cephas, Eugene P Cephas, David Cortijo, Charisse Smitherman and Brandy Davis; and her grandchildren, Anecia, Essence, Skylar Smitherman, Jaden Sankey, Kendell, Arnez, Brooklynn and Hezekiah Smitherman.
