She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Rains and Edna Rains; her siblings, Randy Rains, Sid Rains and Reba Holliday; and her great grandchildren, Akari Roehrich, Paisley Roehrich, Lennox Roehrich and Memphis Roehrich.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Thornton of Copley; her sons, David Limer (Tara) of Norton and Dan Limer of Akron; her siblings-in-law, Cindy Rains of Columbus, Ellen Rains of Wadsworth and Dana Holliday; her granddaughters, Alexis Limer (Mike), Ashley Limer (Timothy) and Brynna Limer; and her friend Polly Hite. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grace Church - Norton Campus (3970 S Cleveland Massillon Rd, Norton, OH 44203). A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
