He was predeceased by: his parents, William Duffield and Elvie Duffield Sr.; and his brothers, Donald Davies, Richard Duffield, William and Duff.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Mullinax; his children, Russell E. Duffield Jr., Kenneth E. Duffield and Patricia Johnson (Mark); his grandchildren, Mark Ryan Johnson (Brooke Brown), Brandon T. Johnson (Brooke), Samantha E. "Sami" Flora (Michael) and Kendall N. Duffield; and his great grandchildren, Memphis, Parker and Emmett.
