She was predeceased by: her parents, Elberta Cobb and Alfonso Cobb; her husband Preston Lewis Jr.; her daughter Dorinda Ann Lewis; her siblings, Madelyn Cobb, Clarence Hill and George Hill; and her grandson Robert Sams III (Mann) of Akron.
She is survived by: her children, Gretchen Banks (Curtis) of Cleveland Ohio, Toni Clay (Jerry) of Surprise, Rose Sams (Robert) of Akron, Ohio, Clark Lewis of Akron and Kevin Lewis of Akron; and her sister Gloria Willis of North Carolina. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grand children and great-great grandchildren.
