He was predeceased by: his father Rudy Savoia. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Savoia (Ake); his children, Cindy Cooper and Dan Russell (Sandy); his grandchildren, Felicia Mastaso (Nick), Scott Cooper (Julie), Aubrey, Taylor and Connor Russell; his great grandchildren, Aidan and Natalie Mastaso; his siblings, Larry Savoia (Barbara) and Beverly Schelcher (Larry); and his brother-in-law Dennis Ake. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
