It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roland E Shumaker of Akron, Ohio, who passed away on October 19, 2024, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Shumaker and Patricia Stair; his stepfather Joseph Stair; his uncles, Jim Nestich and Bob Haney; and his aunt Debbie Coleman.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Shumaker; his sons, Edward, Richard and Carter Shumaker; his siblings, Michael Stair (Jackie), Jeff Stair and Kara McCormick (Larry); and his aunts, Janet Nestich, Diane Haney and Karen Ward. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help cover expenses.
