He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul L. Jones and Mildred A Jones (Baker); his sister-in-law Helenjane Jones (Lafferty); and his niece Kim Austin (Jones). He is survived by: his wife Patricia L. Jones (Flanagan); his children, Paul Jones of California, Todd Jones (Missy) of Doylestown and Candice Jones Carlyon of Akron; his grandchildren, Adam, Andrew, Donovan, Gabrielle, Patric, Julianne, Rose, Lauren and Gabriella; his brother Reese Jones of South Carolina; and his siblings-in-law, Katy Flippo (Steve), Mike Flanagan (Colleen), Art Flanagan (Denise) and Terry Flanagan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
