He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Pryor and Marcella Rush; his sister Patricia "Patty" Brown-Kahler; and his former wife Carol D. Nealy-Pryor. He is survived by: his wife Donna Ray-Pryor; his children, Roger Pryor Jr. (Tanja), Stacy Perine and Diedre "DeeDee" Monroe (Charles); his stepson Bruce Ray (Roni); and his grandchildren, Shana Hall (Mike), Maya Pryor, Suzie Stanley (Charles), Kenny Ray (Emily), Andrew Ray (Jordyn), Tyler Ray (Jessie) and Diana Emhoff (Keith). He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305, USA). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
