He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Spence and Lois Spence (Godbey); his sister Kathryn Woods; and his son-in-law Stephen Cripple. He is survived by: his wife Kay; and his daughters, Chris Patterson (Terry), Colleen Salchak (Marty), Veronica Cripple and Maggie Kirchenbauer (John). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and many other extended family.
