It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Dale Drouhard (Akron, Ohio), who passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert D. Drouhard and Anna Drouhard (Coe); his brother Robert; his brother-in-law Richard Warren; and his nephew Brian Warren.
He is survived by: his siblings, Coleen Warren, Beverly Mrozek (Gary) and Jeffrey Drouhard (Amy); his wife Ruth (Flohr); his children, Emily Mogen (Alexander), Richard (Amanda), Grace Fillmore (Jeffrey), Dorothy Divoky (Joseph), Peter, Judith, Amanda Cardella (James) and Mary Crider (Kyle); and his grandchildren, Zoe, Lucy, Richard, Cecelia, Henry Drouhard, Genevieve, Danielle Divoky, Abigail Mogen, Walter, Charlotte, Emily Cardella, Jane and Lawrence Crider.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 1:30 PM and from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel (1990 S Main St, Akron, OH 44301). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 12:45 PM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Educate the Congo Project, Inc. to be used for maternity services at St. Joseph Community Hospital of Boma, Democratic Republic of The Congo.
