He is survived by: his wife Judith Nicholson; his sister Sandy Bellotte (Sam); his children, Richard Nicholson, Jr. (Judy), Jonathan Nicholson (Rachelle), Tami Adkins, Samuel Adkins (Kim) and Kelly Adkins; and his grandchildren, Nicole (Joseph), Russell (Angelina), Luke, Justin, Samantha, Hannah, Nelia, Maxwell, Charles, Richard III and Harry. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
