He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Cleveland McCorkle and Mary Jane McCorkle (Rhinesmith); his sisters, Mildred Burke, Margaret Gower, Genevieve Woods and Doris Sorenson; and his grandchildren, Kerri and Dan Van Auken.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane McCorkle (Munka); his children, Kathleen Dawson (Ron), Christine McCorkle (Steve Van Auken), Robert McCorkle (Susan), Patricia Wehmer (Bill) and Diane Armstrong (Mark); his grandchildren, Dan Jones (Crystal), Liz Mayo (John), Kate Bunn (Luke), Neil Dawson (Patti), Richard Wagner, Betsy Walker (Curtis), Patrick McCorkle, Brian McCorkle, Sam McCorkle (Olivia), Sarah Beardmore (Pete) and Jessica Walker (Eric); and his great grandchildren, Lily, Aiden, Fiona, Julia, Bennett, Evan, Bradley, Wrigley, Jameson, Oskar, Maddox, Caedence, Keegan and Liam.
