He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Pierce and Frances Pierce; his brothers, Charlie, Willie and Richard Pierce; and his daughter Edna Pierce.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Pierce (Murphy); his sons, Ralph Jr. (Jess), Richard (Brenda), Ronald (Rachel) and Randy (Misty); his grandchildren, Alicia (Dwayne), Brittani (Bob), CJ, Justine (Jeff), Austin (Miah), Lexie (Tommy), Meghan (Jared), Sarah (Eric), Preston, Davey, Tony and Mikey; his great grandchildren, Addison, Abel and Maverick; his sisters, Grace (Bud), Theresa, Jane (Frank), Mary, Diane (Sereno), Sandy and Bev; and his close friends, John Fuller, R. L. Davis, Paul Murphy, Norm Lingle and Ernie.
