With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis Marie Keefer (Akron, Ohio), born in Binghamton, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 24, 2024 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her son Bobby; her son-in-law Eddie Knecht; her former husband Bob Keefer; her mother Francis Eastman; her stepfather Harold Eastman; her father Orman Beers; her stepmother Helen Beers; her siblings, Norma Mattucci (Bob), Gerry Harris (Mel), Kent and Dick Eastman (Joan); and her close friends, Claire Mace, Bobbie Lackey, Luella Madden and Priscilla Fry.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Knecht, Laura Mayer (Rory), Linda Allen (Rusty) and Julie Eder; her sisters-in-law, Betty Willoughby and Cassie Eastman; her grandchildren, Chad Keefer, Mike Keefer (Kimmy), Jimmy Keefer (Ang), Heather Mickunas (Nick), Brittany Helms (PJ), Ryan Mayer, Ashley Watts (Mike), Holly Brown (Jamie), Jesse Allen, Jamie Allen, Meghan Patch (Jon) and Cody Eder; her great grandchildren, Chad Jr., Chase, Collin, Cadence, Connor, Kelsie, Kennedy, Finley, Harper, Nixon, Nicky, Hope, Zoey, Taylor and Callan; her great great grandchild Chase Jr.; and her children-in-law, Cindy Mitchell and Todd Eder. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
