Paul Fickert Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 15, 2024, at the age of 87, Paul Fickert (Akron, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Fickert and Suzanna Fickert; and his siblings, Mary Marz, Erna Lawson and Josef Fickert.
He is survived by: his wife Irene; his children, John Fickert (Ana), Angie Fickert Paterek (Steve) and David Fickert (Becky); his grandchildren, Corey Fickert and Alyssa Appiah (Kenneth); his great grandchildren, Keturah and Malachi Appiah; and his brother Pete Fickert (Gloria).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel (1990 S Main St, Akron, OH 44301). A rosary was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 9:15 AM to 9:30 AM at the same location. A prayer was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Catholic Church (1580 Brown St, Akron, OH 44301). A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:15 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (100 E Waterloo Rd, Akron, OH 44319).
