With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Patricia L. Kirschner of Akron, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Patricia left this world on December 4, 2024 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren McLaughlin and Mary McLaughlin of Akron, Ohio.; and her siblings, Betty, George, Joan, Gary and Diane.

She is survived by: her children, John, Jean and Keith; and her siblings, Mary and David. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and many beloved friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305).

The family is asking for no flowers or donations, but please come with stories and memories to share during the Celebration of Life.

“Jean, Johnnie, Keith - In case I can't get to the funeral on time, please know how much I admired your Mom! She welcomed me to the table probably thinking "how much could this scrawny girl eat?" But that Corned Beef & Cabbage was so good - ha! she slowed me down with Conversation! Those few times at the dinner table where conversations took place will forever be with me! Mom didn't mince words. Had a great sense of humor. And led by example. Thank you for sharing her with me! J.Bowman.”
