She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Sample, Sr. and Josie Gregory; her former husband Elder Henry Lewis Sr.; her siblings, Elder Eddie Sample Jr., Elder Madison Sample, Irene Truitt, Evangelist Missionary Catherine Byrd and Methalee Sample; and her sisters-in-law, Evangelist Missionary Arene Sample and Evangelist Missionary Rose Sample.

She is survived by: her husband Henry Lee Lewis Sr.; her siblings, Evangelist Missionary Josie Lindsey (Earnest) of Orange, TX and Alford Sample Sr. (Emma) of Romulus, MI; her siblings-in-law, Evangelist Missionary Ruby Sample of Romulus, MI and James Davis of East St; her children, Henry Lewis Jr. (Gwen), Lester Lewis (Gail), Antonio Lewis Sr. (Paulette), Byron Lewis (Dana), Ailees Walker of Akron, OH, Alberta Lewis of Akron, OH, Vanessa Brown (Samuel) of Akron, OH, Loradean Clayton (Clarence) of Akron, OH and DeLisa Shelton (Kevin) of Columbus, OH; and her nephew Darryl Truitt (Jacqueline). She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
