She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Ash and Hazel Ash; her husband Jack McAvinew; her brothers, Donald and Allan Ash; and her son-in-law Brian Cuppett.
She is survived by: her children, Jennie Cuppett, Jody Field (Brian) and Eric McAvinew (Dorothy); her grandchildren, Zachary, Joseph Field, Brian Cuppett, Rachel and Jack McAvinew; and her great grandchildren, Jasey and Rowan Field.
