He is survived by: his wife Vela Winfield; his siblings-in-law, Helen Thomas, Alfred Carter (Ernestine) of Akron, Edward Carter of Akron, Sid Carter of Akron and Laymon Carter Sr.; and his grandchildren, Donald Carter Sr. Akron (Euniece), Antoine Winfield, Sr., Octavia McDonald, Katy, Darishata Davis, Columbus, Darisheri Davis, DeAngelo Haslam (Diamond), Antoinette Winfield of Uniontown, OH., Natorria Clark (Edwin) of Akron, OH., Natassia Winfield of Akron, OH., Jermaine Motley of Akron, OH. and Nathan Motley of Akron, OH.. He is also survived by 30 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter along with a host of nieces and nephews.
