With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nathan Mims (Akron, Ohio), who passed away on May 29, 2022 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathaniel J. Mims II and Viola Mims; his brother Steven Lee Mims; and his grandparents, Nathaniel J. Mims, Edna Mims, Lovell and James Ruple.
He is survived by: his son Nathaniel Mims IIII; his sister Stephanie Peterson of Akron, OH; his granddaughters, Precious Littlejohn, Khylie Reed and Khyndal Reed; his great grandchildren, Tristan Little and Tru Little; his aunts, Mattie Mims, Joeann (Donald) of Washington, Emma James, Patricia (Steven) and Taylor of Pittsburgh, PA; his uncle Will "Chilly" Mims (Very) of Akron, OH; his cousin Denise Ruple; and his friend Jay of Akron, OH. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, close family and friends.
