We are sad to announce that on January 11, 2022, at the age of 68, Mizell Irby Jr. of Akron, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mizell Irby and Ossie May Irby; and his siblings, Robert Hood, Jessie Terrell and Shirley Brice.

He is survived by: his children, Tinisha Cartledge, Jennifer Irby, Sean Long (Tina) and Ali Irby; his grandchildren, Danaysia, Taesia, Kayla, Jayla and Jagger Mizell; his former wife Cynthia Irby; his siblings, Marcella Irby, Rosalind Mayes (Jeff) and Michael Irby (Angie); and his close friend Janice Miller. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
