It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Minnie Jean Primes (Akron, Ohio), who passed away on June 9, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mattie Batties and George Toomer; her siblings, Jimmy Toomer, Ronald Toomer, Melvin Batties, Matlin and Summer Batties; and her husband Marvin Primes.
She is survived by: her children, Robin Primes, Marvin Primes (Vicki), Marlon Primes (Kathi), Raymie Hooks (Donnie), Mychael Primes, Rhondalyn Primes, Myron Primes (Erin) and Reagan Primes; her adoptive children, Miles, Rasha, Malcolm, Matthew, Ralena, Mylin and Relorean Primes; her grandchildren, Cory Primes, Shanequa Johnson, Dante Primes, Daisha Primes, Sergius Goins, Emanuel Primes, Markus Primes, Kayla Primes, Amare Okoroma and Cameron Okoroma; and her brothers, Donald (Roberta), Bobby, George (Sheryl) and Bill Toomer. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren.
