It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merle Jay Wodicka of Akron, Ohio, who passed away on August 5, 2022, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rocky Wodicka and Mary Wodicka; his grandparents, Merle, Dawn Wodicka and Edna Rader; his uncles, George and Dan Wodicka; his aunt Margaret Hall; his children, Sarah Hyatt (Ted), Dylan Wodicka (Gabby) and Cheyenne Foster; his siblings, Tina Brown (Joe), George Wodicka and Rocky Wodicka II; his grandchildren, Paisley, Brynlee, Lakota, Nova, Liam and Kyrin; his uncles, Bill, James, Joe and Jack Rader; his nieces and nephews, Michaelle Wodicka, Jessica Workman, Kristina Workman, Rachel Wodicka, Jeanette Fancher, Rocky Wodicka, Kylie and Race Wodicka; and his wife Ericka Becker-Small.

“So very sad to hear of merle's passing , he was the first person to offer his assistance when i moved in my house many years ago , he was like one of the kids if i needed any help with anything i knew i could go ask merle , him and their family have always been very good neighbors and he will always hold a special place in my heart , rest in peace merle and prayers to family and friends , and hope you get to do alotta singing in heaven , from your karaoke bunch that lives behind you, pat and sue”
