She was predeceased by: her mother Hazel Cook; and her husband Joseph D. Gentner. She is survived by: her children, David (Dale) and Kaye Lynne Culyba (Basil); her grandchildren, Jason (Stephanie), Jeff (Mollie), Mark (Marina), David (Sabrina), Liz (Neil), Maggie (Scott) and Catherine (Scott); her great grandchildren, Cole, Olivia, Cora, Ava, Luke, Jack, Elle, Lark, Alex, Hazel, Jacob, Emma, Isaac and Max; her sister Dolores; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Malinak (Paul). She is also survived by two children, doting on 7 grandchildren, and happily spoiling 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Goss Memorial Church, or Friends of Green Spring Gardens, 4603 Green Spring Road, Alexandria, VA 22312 in memory of Maxine.
