As Mary departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Mary. Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Andonios Zervos and Panagiota Zervos; her sister Phaidra Retikas; her brother-in-law Demetrios Retikas; and her nephew Dr. Tony Retikas.
She is survived by: her niece Diti Ciraldo (Mark Ciraldo); her great-nephew Anthony Ciraldo; and her great-nieces, Lenora Tiliakos and Christina Mollica.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of her nephew to the Anthony Retikas, M.D. Memorial Scholarship Fund and mailed to the church at 129 S. Union St. Akron, OH 44304.
