Mary Walter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 10, 2025, at the age of 73, Mary Walter (Akron, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Mary is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Mary's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frank Zimmer and Margaret Mary Zimmer (Curran); her husband Ric Walter; and her siblings, Martin (Ann Zimmer), Bernadette (Steve Hardy), Steve (Peg Zimmer), Ann (Justin Herideen) and Monica (Russell Williams).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hummel Funeral Home - Copley (3475 Copley Rd, Akron, OH 44321). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Guardian Angels Catholic Church (1676 S Cleveland Massillon Rd, Copley, OH 44321).
