Mary Stallman Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Stallman (Akron, Ohio), who passed away on February 25, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Delbert; her mother Cecelia Meredith Griffin; her grandson Davey Patterson; her siblings, Jack, Bill Meredith and Betty Ball; her close friend Evelyn Carlson; and her children, Pam Patterson (Dave), Gene Stallman (Robbie), Teri McFarland (Mike) and Sandy Stanojevic (Milan). She was also cherished by eleven grandchildren and twenty great- grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Immaculate Conception Church.

“My mother was the best! I always said if she wasn't my mother by birth, she'd be my best friend by choice. Mom was always there for me when I needed her. She didn't always tell me what I wanted to hear, but she ALWAYS told me what I NEEDED to hear. That is hard to do with children. Most of us struggle at raising children. So many of us find it difficult to walk the line of parenting. Mom was an expert. We were truly blessed and I know we will all miss her. I love you mom. Be happy.”
