With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Edna Wagner (Akron, Ohio), who passed away on January 16, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Mary Edna farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Mary Edna is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Genevieve (Skinner) and Oliver Lee Heater (Bee). She is survived by: her daughter Dianna Wagner of Akron; her sisters, Louise Mitchell of Buckhannon and Lois Whetung of Crowes Landing; her husband Charles Wagner (Purple Heart Recipient); her siblings, Dale, Arnold, Joe, Jack Heater, Maxine Posey and Ann Fisher; and her close friend Tom Houston. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Greenlawn Memorial Park (2580 Romig Rd, Akron, OH 44320).
