It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Evelyn Jenkins (Akron, Ohio), who passed away on April 19, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Vernon Wesley Jenkins; and her parents, William Ellsworth Selzer and Beatrice Lillian Snader Selzer. She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Newport (Gary) of Memphis, TN and David Jenkins (Karen) of Mogadore, OH; her grandchildren, Stephen Newport of Memphis, TN, Rachel Brown (Bradley) of Germantown, TN and Jonathan Newport (Sherri) of Arlington, TN; her great grandchildren, Caleb Brown of Germantown, TN, Peyton Kirk and Sloane Elise Newport of Arlington, TN.; and her sister Beverly Bostic (Bob). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
