She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Bergdorf and Muriel Bergdorf. She is survived by: her children, Michael Tipler and Melanie Tipler; her brothers, William Bergdorf (Cyd), Robert Bergdorf (Diane) and Charles Bergdorf (Debbie); and her grandchildren, Melik Owens and Mekhi Howard. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
