She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Goins; and her son James Goins. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda McNulty (Michael) and Nancy Nieman (Robert). She is also survived by dog lover and adored her furry grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Marie's name to One of a Kind Pet Rescue, 1929 W. Market St., Akron, OH 44313.
