She was predeceased by: her parents, Doddridge "Don" Morris Pfeiffer and Ruth Mary (Duncan). She is survived by: her husband Donald Miles McCann, Jr.; her son Donald Miles III (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Mary Margaret Steffensen (Stephen), Lucy Elizabeth, Garrett Winston and Ian Pfeiffer (Kathleen); and her great grandchild Willow Celeste Steffensen.

For reference to future generations, with great courage, and by writing many letters to friends and family, she survived the Covid virus quarantine.
