It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luvenia Hargrove (Akron, Ohio), born in Tampa, Florida, who passed away on February 13, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Gibson and Ethel Gibson; her husband Harrington Hargrove Sr.; her daughters, Sheila and Retha Lee; and her siblings, Anna Lee Gibson, Mattie Ellen Gibson, Ruth Colley, Josephine Brown, David Gibson, Ray Horace, Clarence David and Lewis.
She is survived by: her children, Doloris Gibson, Gloria Jean, Christine, Rosemary, Janet Luvenia, Harrington Jr. of Akron, OH, Allen Ray of Akron, OH, Roy Anthony of Akron, OH and Daniel Perry; and her grandchildren, Stempanie Hargrove, Antar Stimbridge, Kelly Peters, Cory S. Hargrove and Rodney L. Hargrove. She is also survived by 35 grandchildren, 75 great-grandchildren, 69 great-great-grandchildren.
