With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois J Hamilton of Akron, Ohio, who passed away on April 18, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lois J Hamilton to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bart P. Hamilton; and her parents, Walter H. Owen and Jeannette Owen. She is survived by: her sisters, Bunny Klein, Rose Ann Finch and Adriann Traverse; her children, Barton Lee E. (Angie), Ernest, Sean and Christina; her grandchildren, Destiny of Barton, GW, Misti, Lacey, Lee O., Joseph, Jacob and Tyler (Jade); and her close friends, Leslie, William Joel (Danielle) and Olivia Briscoe. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rose Hill Funeral Home (3653 W Market St, Akron, OH 44333). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the United Presbyterian Church of Cuyahoga Falls (2819 Hudson Dr, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221).
In lieu of flowers, memorials made be made to the church or a charitable organization of your choice.
