He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hance and Estelle Hance. He is survived by: his children, Sonia Bancroft (Claude) of Hartville, Phillip Hance (Rebecca) of Florida, Robin George (Richard) of North Carolina, Charles Hance (Cynthia) of Hartville, Janet Beitel (Paul) of Barberton, Jonathan Hance (Michelle) of Barberton, Jessica Butler (Chad) of Mogadore and Jason Hance (Lori) of Hartville; his brother James D. Hance; and his sister-in-law Janet Peterson (Herman). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren.
