With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence N. Payne (Akron, Ohio), who passed away on September 23, 2022 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandmother Ora Payne; his mother Arlean Payne; his brother Kenneth Payne; and his uncles, Ellis Payne (George), Wendell Payne (Wilkie), David Payne Sr., Robert Payne and Lee Dove.

He is survived by: his wife Toni Beckley-Payne; his children, Brolin Payne, Monica Payne, Danielle Vaene (Khaek), Aaron Morris and Ceia Stewart; and his cousins, David Payne Jr. and Thomas Harris (Benji). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a multitude of friends.
