He is survived by: his wife Dr. Brenda Prince; his daughters, Jodie Mellinger and Jamie Shelly (Patrick); his granddaughters, Kathryn, Jessica Mellinger, Teagan and Brooke Shelly; his brother Norman Prince (Paula); his mother-in-law Shirley Kern; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Kriegshauser (Pat), Sara Kreitler (Chad), James Kern and August, Jr. Kern (Suhee). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
