It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence A. Bowles (Akron, Ohio), who passed away on July 11, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Simuel A. Bowles and Betty L. Bowles; his wife Darlene Bowles; his brothers-in-law, John, Diwight, Eli and Doug Smith; and also Loretta Christian.
He is survived by: his daughters, Myra Bowles and Tuwanna Christian; his granddaughter Chariss Henderson; his siblings, Jackie Edingburgh (Eugene), Barbara Parker (Jerome) and Antoine Bowles (Olivia); his nieces and nephews, Nikki Smith, Chinna Parker, LeiSan Smith, Sharee Parker-Travis (Romeo), Jerome Parker, Jr. and Joshua Parker; his close friends, Floyd Jefferies and Eddie Lot; and his pets, Sampson and Deliah. He is also survived by great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.
