It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kay E. Franks (Akron, Ohio), who passed away on August 6, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kay E. Franks to pay them a last tribute.
Though Kay may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Kay touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Nicholson and Carol Nicholson; and her grandparents, Ersel and Ethel Franks. She is survived by: her daughter Ellen Franks; and her cousin Kay Haines.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kay Nicholson Franks Memorial Fund, which will be created in Kay's honor to provide permanent financial support for Spanish Department at Tallmadge High School.
