Kathryn Boles Obituary

She was predeceased by: her husband James B. Boles; her parents, Anthony Scalise and Anne Scalise; her brother Dominic Scalise; and her aunts, Geraldine Volpe and Rose Citriniti.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lori Ann Harper, Lisa K. Balough (Jeffrey) and Jennifer M. Durkin (Patrick); her grandchildren, James Balough (Autumn), Alexandra Rose Balough-Graham (Alexzandra), Jack Durkin, Catherine Durkin and Meghan Durkin; her nieces, Anna Weitzell (Larry), Michelle Piccirilli, Nicole Scalise and Angie Scalise; her nephew Micheal Mondello; her cousins, Mary Ann Vernacotola and Len Santacroce; and her friend Sue Bearer (Ted).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hummel Funeral Home - Copley (3475 Copley Rd, Akron, OH 44321). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Hilary's Catholic Church (2750 W Market St, Fairlawn, OH 44333).
She was then invited to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York, where a ceremony was held in her honor for her donation of the ticket to the museum.
