He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Beatrice and Thomas Jefferson Boles; his brother Thomas Boles; his brother-in-law Tom Duke; and his nephew Tom Snyder.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Dr. Mark Boles (Carol) and Denise Recob (Daniel); his sister Juanita Duke; his half-brother Bill Boles; his stepbrother John Sherrill; his siblings-in-law, Carroll Boles, Robin Becker (Paul) and Butch Cutright; his grandsons, Dr. Brett Sitzlar (Elizabeth), Derek Sitzlar (Sarah Wearley), Blake Sitzlar (Hannah) and Dylan Boles; and his great grandchild Elliana Sitzlar.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Oak Hill United Presbyterian Church in his name, or spend some extra time with those you love.
