He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Serbin and Catherine Serbin (Harbonovich); his siblings, John Serbin, Anna, Stephena and Ruth Serbin; and his son-in-law Robert Blythe.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice Foote; his sister Olga Prem; his children, Richard Serbin (Sue), Marilyn Blythe and Sheryl Huff; his grandchildren, Meredith Duncan (Brian), Kyle Serbin (Natasha), Joe Blythe (Tabitha), Bethany Foell (David), Jordan Huff and Katie Donnelly (Jayme); his great grandchildren, Tanner and Avery Duncan; his grandchildren, Kolton, Nolan, Joel Serbin, Daniel, Ruby Jo Blythe and Micah Foell; and his sister-in-law Anne Serbin.
In lieu of flowers, it would please the family if donation could be made to the Springfield Assembly "Fueled by Faith" fund in memory of Pastor Joe, who would have loved to see that project completed.
