John Russell Wiseman Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 30, 2023, at the age of 65, John Russell Wiseman (Akron, Ohio) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Russell Wiseman to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Dorothy; his daughters, Kelly (Robert) and Christy (Tony); his parents, Roy Wiseman and Mary Hayward Wiseman; his siblings, Bob (Sandy) and Lois Bailey (Bud); his family John; and his friends, Dorothy, Kelly, Robert, Christy and Tony.

Covid closed down normal life 2 weeks prior to John's retirement and this was closely followed by an advanced cancer diagnosis.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to purchase loaner autocross helmets for clubs across the region – allowing others to experience John's passion.

“Dorothy, Kelly & Christy, I am so very sorry for your loss. We all loved John and admired his joviality, vast knowledge and his infectious smile every time he was in our presence. I do hope you can find some solace that a huge group of people in industry-- across America and around the world loved and respected that wonderful man and our hearts are breaking at this most difficult time.
