John Maharg Obituary
We bid farewell to John Maharg of Akron, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 6, 2025 at the age of 75. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Maharg and Maxine Maharg; his stepmother Nelle Maharg; his brother Larry Maharg; and his former wife Kally.
He is survived by: his wife Pam Maharg; his children, Lindsay Bitzer (Jason) and Chris Maharg (Katie); his stepson Thomas Harrison (Brittany); his brothers, Jeff Maharg and James Maharg; his siblings-in-law, Mike Pine (Tori), Karen Maharg and Bonnie Meyer; and his stepsiblings, Susan Yerg (Ray), Linda Holder (Steve), Nancy Poynter (Bob), Jan Bruner and Don Koepfgen. He is also survived by six granddaughters and one grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Rolling Hills Golf Course (6586 Milligan Rd, Cass City, MI 48726). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
